These Terms govern access to karigarkatha.com and purchases from Karigar Katha, operated by Girija Kar. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy, Shipping, and Refund and Cancellation policies.

Products and handmade variations

We sell handcrafted Indian artwork, including palm-leaf Pattachitra paintings, bookmarks and related handicrafts. Because many items are handmade and use natural materials, minor variations in colour, texture, size, grain or detailing are normal and are not defects. Product photographs may appear slightly different because of lighting or screen settings.

Pricing and payment

Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR). Applicable taxes, discounts and shipping charges are shown before payment. Payments are processed through available authorised payment providers. We do not store complete payment credentials.

Orders

An order is confirmed only after successful payment and receipt of an order confirmation. We may contact you if stock, pricing, address or payment information requires verification. If an item becomes unavailable after payment, we will offer an alternative or initiate a refund to the original payment method. We may refuse or cancel orders involving suspected fraud, unlawful activity, obvious pricing errors or delivery limitations.

Shipping

Dispatch and delivery are governed by our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are not guarantees and may be affected by courier, weather, holiday, remote-location or force-majeure delays.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

Eligibility, request windows and refund timelines are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Customised or personalised goods are not returnable except where damaged, defective or incorrect.

Website use and intellectual property

Website content, branding, images and text may not be copied, resold or commercially reused without permission. You must not misuse the website, interfere with security, submit unlawful material or attempt unauthorised access.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for a claim relating to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian consumer law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer law, disputes will be subject to the courts having jurisdiction in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Changes

We may update these Terms prospectively. The version displayed when an order is placed applies to that order.
